Helicopter emergency medical service
Emergency Medical Division of AIR - TRANSPORT EUROPE is private owned medical facility, based on certificate issued by the Ministry of Health. We operating 7 HEMS bases across Slovakia. We had 1199 rescue missions last year, over 1300 flight hours last year.
We assist at:
- by insuries and accidents in mountains and outfield areas
- by car accidents, mass accidents, catastrophes
- by transportation patients who require special and intensive care
- by transportation of transplantation teams
- in service for 24 hour per day, 7 days per week
- we are able to start rescue mission within 5 minutes after emergency call is received
- provides night operations as well
- operates its own dispatching which receives emergency calls and coordinates missions of all five bases
